The Board of Mayor and Alderman adopt Building Codes for the citizens to help provide guidance on projects throughout the town and for the safety of our citizens.  Before you build, please contact the City Codes Officer to ensure that you have the correct permits on file with the town.  The permitting process allows town staff to review plans for building to make sure plans conform to safety and property standards before a project begins.
