The Town of Dover is full of historical treasures and fun recreational opportunities. It is a small town with hometown charm, community values and a relaxing atmosphere. The town is located in northern middle Tennessee and is the gateway to Land Between the Lakes National Recreational Area as well as the home of historic Fort Donelson National Park. The town is home to a community of  around 1,500 and is surrounded by natural beauty of the Cumberland River.

Eagle Fest

The Town of Dover host annual Eagle Feast Celebration the 3rd weekend in May.  This celebration is a time to honor our service men and women who have served or are currently serving our great country.  The festival has variety of activities including local music, arts and crafts exhibits, food concessions, free kids activities and numerous activities for people of all ages.




 


 

Halloween Festival - Last Saturday in October

The location of the event is at the Stewart County Middle School. All forms can be picked up at city hall. We estimate over 1,000 trick or treaters each year. The event is very successful thanks to your participation.


 


 

Lighting of the Tree in Downtown Dover

This event is located in heart of Dover at the gazebo and will provide a great opportunity to kick off the Christmas season in our community.   There will be music, businesses will be open, Christmas lights and a visit from Santa.
