Dover Board of Mayor and Alderman
The Town of Dover Board of Mayor and Alderman meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise advertised. All meetings are held at City Hall, 625 Donelson Parkway and are open to the public.
The Town of Dover host annual Eagle Feast Celebration the 3rd weekend in May. This celebration is a time to honor our service men and women who have served or are currently serving our great country. The festival has variety of activities including local music, a car show, arts and crafts exhibits, food concessions, free kids activities and numerous activities for people of all ages. Halloween Festival - Last Saturday in October
The location of the event is at the Stewart County Middle School. All the forms can be picked up at city hall or downloaded from our website at www.dovertn.com. Deadline for Registration is last Monday, in October and should be turned in to Dover City Hall. We estimate there over 1,000 trick or treater each year. The event is very successful thanks to your participation and we would greatly appreciate your participation again this year. This event is located in heart of Dover at the Gazebo and will provide a great opportunity to kick off the Christmas season in our community. There will be music, businesses will be open, Christmas lights and a visit from Santa.
Christmas in the Park - December 1 thru December 31
All the forms can be picked up at city hall or download from our website at www.dovertn.com. We would like for all Christmas Displays to be set up and ready to go no later than 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1st, we will open to the public at 5:00 p.m. Deadline for Registration is Monday, November 28, 2018 and should be turned in to Dover City Hall.
